Lowe’s offering Veterans 10% discount

Lowe’s Corporation has begun a program giving veterans a 10 percent discount on all purchases. According to a written statement from the San Jacinto County Veteran’s Service Officer, Gerald Duncan, eligible veterans simply have to state they are veteran at check out and ask for “the veteran’s 10 percent discount.” The written notice goes on to state that the clerk will ask for identification proving veteran status.

Eligible forms of identification include:

  • a VA medical card
  • a Department of Defense retirement card
  • a DD-214

Duncan went on to write that he, “tried this program out on Saturday, August 15, without any problems.”
