The Last TEE

In 1994, the National Disabled Veterans TEE Tournament sprang to life as the brainchild of several employees of the Iowa City VA Medical Center, along with two visually impaired Iowa Veterans. These visionaries created the TEE Tournament, an acronym standing for TRAINING, EXPOSURE and EXPERIENCE which has evolved in to a week-long adaptive golf program that is presented by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and DAV (Disabled American Veterans). TEE is much more than a golf event, its an event where Veterans can challenge themselves to reach new goals, experience the camaraderie they once shared during their service and continue along their rehabilitative journeys.
