This is the first piece of legislation that I have asked the membership to look at. If we can't support a license plate for Gold Star families, then we as veterans should hang our head in shame.

This is the link to the newly introduced bill for the Gold Star Family License Plate.

House Bill 2498

Rep. McIlhinney introduced the bill on Friday. It is now HB 2498 and you can access it with that number. It should get officially referred to the transportation committee today.

In this first step,please write to Chairman Geist encouraging the committee to vote out the bill and report it to the full House ASAP.
