Default 173rd Infatry 1967 - 1968 Ft. Davis Canal Zone Panama SP4

Yes I am looking for some buddies of my husbands as he is not in good health and has been his long desire to talk with and have them visit him to comtiplate old times and enjoy some new times together.

He served in the army with the 173rd Infintry in 1967 - 1968 Ft. Davis Canal Zone Panama SP4 some of the names he has spoke about are Joe Inclema, Tom Leamedia, not sure of the spelling on that last name. Thomas' nickname was No Neck. A Larry and A Powell, if you could help me with how or what I need to do I would greatly appreciate it. Steve has three children that would love to put faces with the names of the special guys that their dad has told them so much about over the years. Terry123_@excite.com steve's health is so bad that I would really like to get this done asap if you could help me do so.

Thank you and god bless.

Terry Meagley

I think you mean the 193rd inf. The 173rd was in Vietnam in those years were they not.

The 193rd was part of USARSO.

I was there 72/74 and got hep C there.

I am now dieing from it amd may not live out the year.

I certainly hope you are able to find your husbands friends. There are some funny and sad stories about Army buddies. My Uncle Walt was in Nam.You know the movie We Were Soldiers? That movie was about the battle he lost his leg in.There commanding officer was played by Mel Gibson. He said it was probably 90% history and 10% Hollywood. There's a book to called We Were Soldiers and We Were Young. He goes to a reunion once a year to see th guys he served with.
