Subject: Forbes Alert

Well, Forbes and Verespy are at it again. Look up todays edition of the Forest City News at www.forestcitynews.com Click on HOME, Scroll down to Jim Spano and the scroll to Veterans Home. It tells how the developer Jim Spano and his family foundation plans to revitalize Forest City and how the Veterans Coalition will put in a Beacon House and a coffee shop and bakery and then take over the property. More schemes and more money for Forbes and Verespy. Call the newspaper at 570- 785-3800 and speak to the editor about all of Forbes failed ventures and how he gets rid of anyone who questions him.
Let's get these people educated!

Here is a snippet from the site that is of importance.

Quote:
VETERANS HOME
Working with the Veterans Coalition, he would buy and renovate the building and turn it over to the Coalition. It would be run as a Beacon House project of the coalition and would be a long-term housing location for veterans. One of the stipulations for establishing the veteran's home, in addition to them running the bakery and coffee shop, would be to provide 80 hours of volunteer service by the veterans each week to the operation of a youth center which would be located in the ground floor of the Kartri annex building.
The developer stressed that change is already happening in Forest City and that, unfortunately, that change is not for the better. He suggested that it was time that Council members, business community members, and local property owners, realize that they must begin to direct that change to their benefit.
