Default More news feeds

Veterans Resources News Page

I have added in 2 more news feeds. The 2 new news feeds are from the Department of Defense.

American Forces Information Services
News Releases - U.S. Dept. Of Defense

When you goto the news page you may select at the top which news feed you would like to view. It will move you to the location on the page where that news feed can be found. There are buttons next to the titles of each section that say TOP and they will take you back to the top of the page.

I hope you find these news feeds useful as well as the news feed we already have from Yahoo! News.

Did you set that up to automatically post? If so, how?

Yes, it will automatically pull the news feeds off of those sites. It is set to update each feed once per hour. It doesn't store the news though, it just displays the latest news that is syndicated on those sites.

The news feeds are RSS format and I use PHP to parse the files and display the information.
