Missing for 45 Years

Looking for information, all I have is photos at below link, and no name. The photos are taken during 1961-1962, while he was stationed in Korea. Any info from the uniform would be greatly appreciated.

Don't remember, it was a Japanese name, and hard to pronounce. It's been too long. All letters are lost during the moves. As stated, some pictures and little info is all I have left.

Can you tell the rank or any other information by looking at the uniform? Any info would help.
