Yes, you can just take the reports along with you. However, make sure you send copies of those reports to your regional office too. Don't count on the C&P doctor to include them in his/her report or forward them to the regional office for you.

Exclamation Documents to the VARO

Thanks, Vike17... excellent advice. The VARO can and will get things plenty mixed-up on their own. Don't make it more complicated than it has to be. I have had to trouble-shoot 4 MAJOR errors that my VARO has made over the past 2+ years. I had to write them a memo and tell them of their mistakes... then, they fixed them. Its always better to cross-check on what the VARO is suppose to be doing.... one of the best ways is to get a complete copy of your C-file. ONLY then will you know whats going on and what should be going on. You gotta stay on top of it. If you find mistakes by the VARO, make sure you get it corrected, immediately. I know of some "real smart" Vets that waited for years to come to find-out that their VSO never did send some critical documents to the VARO as the VSO said he did. Ooooooo !!!!!

1968,

I don't get it!

My advice had nothing to do with the regional office getting things mixed up. It had everything to do with the C&P doctor not incorporating or sending documents to the regional office in the veterans behalf!

If the regional office doesn't receive the needed evidence, regardless from where they came from, how are they suppose to work the claim accurately?!?!?

I'm fully aware of your claims and why they were decided the way they were. YOU and YOU alone are responsible for the evaluations you received. You received a 50% rating for PTSD, but now piss and moan because the VA didn't award you the golden egg of 100%. After you received the 50% evaluation, all of a sudden you admit that you have sucidal intentions and so forth and said you were in denial and didn't tell the examining shrink. Now after you realized that suicidal intentions are a portion of the 100% evaluation criteria for mental disabilities, you all of a sudden were in denial and never mentioned such things to VA.

1968, you are so full of $hit it isn't even entertaining anymore. It's claims like yours that clog an already overloaded system that is at the brink of exploding. It's bull$hit claims like yours that cause the ungodly wait times for other veterans and their claims. It's claims and appeal like yours, which the veteran is just looking to get to the promised land of the 100% evaluation regardless if the evidence warrants such a rating or not, that want to make me just puke! I've been helping veterans with claims for a long, long time now, and when I see someone trying to milk the system like you , it pisses me off to no end because ultimately there is a veteran that has a legit claim which is being held up because some claim like yours. Leave well enough alone!!!!!!!

To the rest of the board, I hope I did not step on anyones toes here. My post is soley directed at 1968 and his antics, not anyone else and there questions or claims.

How can you trouble shoot anything when you don't even know how to submit a claim with a diagnosis and nexus.

Based on observation of your behavior on this and other veteran’s websites it appears your sole purpose here is to setup a strawman for the purpose of debate and to generate conflict. I won't engage you on that level for any reason.

Your understanding of veteran’s claims issues is appallingly abysmal. You don't know and won't listen to those that do. You appear to have totally mis-managed your own claim because you simply failed to understand the process.

The owner/operators of two veteran’s forums have deleted your accounts. In one case, they were forced to do this twice when you shifted nym's and IP addresses to deceive the operator.

Anyone following your advice will place his own claim at risk.

Will a diagnosis of PTSD by a civilian shrink count for anything, seeing that VA wants to call your problem everything else?
