Many of us are looking to establish evidence of AO spraying in Korea 1968-1971.

You should contact DMZBob [email protected] and introduce yourself to the Korea vets chat group. There may be others who can provide support of a claim for AO exposure. Unlike Vietnam vets, there is not a presumptive exposure to AO for those who served in Korea, during and just after the DMZ war there. Basically, post 1968, we know that all of our firing lanes were kept open with spraying of herbicides. That includes the DMZ camps and strategic assets like the Nike Herc (tactical nuke) missile batteries.

Or contact Barb Wright @ [email protected]
if you have any direct knowledge of spraying at your Nike Herc camp. Below is a redacted public message from Barb posted to Korea Chat group:

Patrick McGreevy from the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee called. We have to find people who were in Chemical Weapons Units stationed in Korea between 1960 and 1968 and have direct knowledge about spraying of herbicides in Korea. If anyone has a spray map or can show on a map of Korea where they sprayed that would be wonderful. DoD swears they know nothing about spraying so we have to prove them wrong.
