To all.....just a quick question on behalf of my wife. She is a retired E-9 and just received her VA rating of 100%. On her package it states "you are not allowed to receive full military retirement pay and full VA compensation pay at the same time". Here lies my confusion as to how this works......considering her compensation will be less than her retirement pay what can we expect with the first payment?

Second question..... With me still being active duty can she claim me as a spouse through the VA? Right now her benefits are based off single.

Thanks in advance for any information you guys provide.
