I searched these forums and didn't see anything in reference to a herbicide
examination. In the recent paperwork I received from the VA they wanted to know if I had this exam. It wasn't requested that I get one but was listed
under Important Information in the paperwork.
My question is, is this just for research studies or does it actually have any
bearing on my claim? I'm assuming it doesn't, but wonder if anyone has had it
    and if so why?
    Thanks to all replies, Mike

Hi carp48,welcome. You need to state your illnesses. Without that I don't think any one will know what your talking about. Do you suffer from ie. Diabetes Melitus 2? or any other AO related illness? Tell us and we may be able to put you right. Cheers.

I suspect they're talking about the AO Registry exam. It can help identify if you might have any conditions related to herbicide exposure. Absolutely useless with regard to a claim, AO or otherwise.

    Thanks

Thank you Guarango and TinCanMan for your quick replies
Sorry I didn't include it but my disease is Prostate Cancer.
I have posted prior to this and also Guarango thanks for your welcome.
This site has helped me with my claim and I appreciate it more than I can say.
Hope that someday I'll be able to answer someone else's question with the
certainty and knowledge that the rest of you possess.
Thanks again, you answered my question and concerns. Mike

Who knows??? What are you appealing? What evidence do you intend to present? Are you talking about a hearing? What kind of appeal? DRO? BVA? Some information would help.
