Back in June I filed a NOD for a VA decision. I went through my service officer (DAV) and filed the appeal. I attached a letter from my PCM, three buddy statements and a portion of my medical records with the symptoms that were overlooked while I was still AD. I received a letter from the DAV stating they had received my appeal package on 26 June and were walking it across the street to the regional office in St. Petersburg. I've called the VA three times to see if they had received it. Each time the answer is no that my electronic file that the person on the other end of the phone is looking at is not updated.

My question is are they that backed up (understandable) and does it take this long or would I be better off copying everything and sending it myself again. I have an e-mail into my VSO but he has not responded yet.

Any info would be appreciated. KRC
