I have been going to school for the past 4 years full-time and have used the VA (Priority Group 5) since I left the Air Force in 2012. I just graduated and will be starting a new job making good money at Northrop Grumman. I will start in June and asked the VA representative if I will be knocked out from the VA for making too much money. He responded that I won't have to worry about it until next year since I will only work half the year technically. So my question is (if someone can help me out or have been in this situation before): Should I not take a health insurance coverage from my employee this year? What about next year? My overall health is also: Singles (no kids), health is good, non-service connected.

Any input would be great. Thanks for all the help. Also if someone can recommend me a good book for 2017 or some good resources on what makes a good benefits package I would greatly appreciate (it would save me some time browsing through so many sites).
